PM Modi does a puja, meditates, and dives into the Arabian Sea for Dwarka Darshan.

PM Modi’s Dwarka Darshan does a Puja, Meditates, and Dives into the Arabian Sea: On Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi went down to a location beneath the Arabian Sea and offered prayers at the alleged location of the ancient Dwarka city. He also offered peacock feathers to the Indian Navy divers as he sat in meditation on the ocean floor. Gujarat is the destination of His two-day tour, which got underway on February 24. On Sunday, The Prime Minister launched several development projects, including Sudarshan Setu, as part of his tour to Gujarat.

Professional divers were with The Prime Minister the entire time while he dove beneath the surface. He made the decision to pray at the location while donning traditional clothing and a diving helmet rather than donning the full diving gear. Additionally, PM Modi honored Lord Krishna, who established the ancient city of Dwarka, by presenting a sacrifice of peacock feathers.

He was assisted by Navy divers while he remained underwater, praying and meditating while sitting cross-legged on the ocean floor. Following his underwater prayers, The Prime Minister said, “sahas se zyada shradha ki baat thi mere liye (For me it was more about faith than courage)” to the enthusiastic ovation of the specialists on board.

About the city Dwarka

The ancient relationship between Dwarka City and Lord Krishna is well-known. The city is often referred to as Lord Krishna’s Karm Bhoomi because, in Hindu legend, he made his home here after vanquishing his uncle Kansa in Mathura. Following Lord Krishna’s departure from Earth years ago, the city is thought to have been submerged under the sea.
During the Puranic era, the Aryans also established the city as the capital of Saurashtra. The 2,500-year-old Dwarkadhish Temple in the city was destroyed by the Mahmud Begada dynasty and rebuilt in the sixteenth century. It is devoted to the Hindu god Krishna.

In Gujarat’s Devbhumi Dwarka district, PM Modi earlier on Sunday dedicated Sudarshan Setu, the nation’s longest cable-stayed bridge, spanning 2.32 kilometers across the Arabian Sea and linking Beyt Dwarka island to the mainland at Okha. In addition, he dedicated and established the groundwork for other city development initiatives totaling over ₹4150 crore.
